Recent work

In the recent paintings of Patrice Lorenz we find night skies and gestural abstractions racing towards the essence of fading dreams. A closed gate holding us out or in, a house at dusk spilling an acid alien light out into the yard, a tightrope walker at a crossroads bravely facing a darkening three-mooned heaven—all rendered with a most casual mastery of color, form and composition.
